Aim:
To help workers understand the impact self-esteem has on young women’s ability to make positive choices in their lives and to develop fun yet practical ways of working with young women.  Learning Outcomes:
Participants will have the opportunity to:
  • Explore concepts of self-esteem for us and the girls/young women we work with.
  •  Consider how our own self-esteem affects our work with young women.
  •  Explore what damages and builds self-esteem.
  •  Explore behaviour that may arise from different self-esteem levels.
 Who should attend?

All front line staff working with girls and young women. The course provides a practical “tool kit” for working with young women and is experiential in nature.

  Facilitators

Gayner McFarlane, OASIS Project
